The Seattle Seahawks got tired of the talk that the Arizona Cardinals were headed to The Super Bowl , and decided to go out and put on a old fashioned butt kicking. Seahawks 19, Cardinals 3 – yes, the Cardinals did not score a touchdown. Yes, they were without the play of star WR Larry Fizgerald, but he’s not their only pass-catcher. Moreover, they have a stable of great running backs. No, Seattle came out and won a tough game.

The difference was the Seattle Defense, which limited the Cardinals Running Game to such lows that their leading runner gained 24 yards, and QB Drew Stanton was the second leading runner with 23 yards – and that was about it. The Seattle Defense made up for the Arizona Cardinals sacking Seahawks QB Russell Wilson a whopping 7 times, for 42 yards.

Now, it’s on to play the San Francisco 49ers. I’ll take Seattle because the 49ers need, but do not have, a great play action pass system to go with their unique running game.

Stay tuned.
