The system that Ohio State Coach Urban Meyer and others like Sonny Dykes and Tony Franklin at Cal helped bring to life allows a team to strike fast and mount a more effective comeback.
It allowed freshmen like Cardale Jones to step in and lead their teams to seemingly improbable wins. If you are not playing some kind of spread no huddle then you are not going to win a lot of title or bowl games, even with a strong defense.
