Pat Summit Passes – Tennessee Lady Vols Head Coach Was Great Leader – Video
Pat Summit, the legendary head coach of the Tennessee Lady Vols Basketball Team, died this morning after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was 64 years old.
Coach Summit started as Tennessee Lady Vols Head Coach at the young age of 22 and never looked back. But it wasn’t the 1,098 wins she talked about ; it was the 161 Lady Vols she coached that was what she remembered.
Pat Summit is survived by her son Ross “Tyler” Summit, and her husband RL Summit.
