UPDATE: Gia Allemand’s Final Tweet: “Doing what is right and fair pleases The Lord”
Gia Allemand, The Bachelor Star, killed herself at the young age of 29, and in the middle of a life that, from the outside, seemed to have so much going for it. She was a former Maxim model, TV star, devote Christian, and had a boyfriend in NBA player Ryan Anderson, who seemed to care the World about her.
But, in New Orleans, Mr. Anderson found Gia Allemand hanging on Monday, took her down and then to the hospital, where, after “critical loss of brain and organ function,” Ms. Allemand was pronounced dead.
What happened?
Internet rumor is that she had a “rough patch” with Ryan Anderson, but that’s not been confirmed. But, as I blogged above, Gia seemed to be headed for more great things: a role in a movie about Gianni Russo, where she was to play the legendary actress Ava Gardner, and was involved in the Ghost Trek TV series.
Gia Allemand was on The Bachelor in 2010, and was the only contestant in a committed relationship. Because of that, she was eliminated, but the appearances served to launch her TV and movie career.
