Anna Benson is the very hot star of the TV show Baseball Wives, who’s now proving that orange is the new black. Anna Benson was arrested on Monday night in Smyrna, Georgia and after breaking into the home of her husband, former New York Mets Pitcher Kris Benson, pulling a metal baton, and then a gun, and demanding $30,000, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
What the AJC’s Christian Boone writes next is just plain nuts:
Officers arrived at the apartment in the 1160 block of Drewsbury Court to find Anna Benson, star of the VH-1 reality series, “Baseball Wives,” wearing a bullet proof vest and an ammunition belt containing several rounds. She had a “Batman” knife inside her waistband, a police-issue baton in her hands and a revolver in her purse, according to the incident report.
Why she had a “Batman” knife is beyond me. She also told police she was wearing the bullet proof vest so that it could “mold to her body.”
What’s what’s more nuts is that officers told the AJC that she did think anything was wrong, and didn’t understand why they came to the house. Kris Benson was so scared, he managed to run and hide in the woods next to the home.
Mr. Benson had filed for divorce last year. The judge ordered her to leave the house on June 3rd.
