If you’ve ever wanted to ride in, or better yet, drive an electric car like the Chevy Volt, Nissan Leaf, BMW ActiveE or Ford Focus, you can tommorrow, Saturday, June 8th.

Electric vehicle experts and owners will gather at the San Francisco Civic Center to share their knowledge of and experiences with the latest plug-in electric models during a free workshop and street fair. The cars available for ride and drives include the Chevy Volt, Nissan Leaf, BMW ActiveE and Ford Focus.

So here are the basics for the event:

WHEN: Saturday, June 8, 2013

10:30 a.m. Presentation and Drivers Panel Discussion – San Francisco Public Library, Koret Auditorium

12:30 – 2:00 p.m. Plug-in Electric Vehicle Street Fair – Fulton Street

WHERE: San Francisco Public Library, Koret Auditorium
100 Larkin St., San Francisco Civic Center, just off Civic Center BART Station
