Beyonce Confirms Super Bowl 2013 Halftime Show

Beyonce confirmed what has been a rumor based on an Associated Press reporter that she will perform at the Super Bowl 2013 Halftime Show. But the famed singer and wife of Jay-Z didn’t do it via Twitter or an official statement, but she did it via her website.

This blogger saw the original report, looked around Twitter, then after discovering that her account was not active, but up, search for her website and found a photo of her wearing eye-black, with one makeup reading “Feb 3″ and the other “2013″ – the date of Super Bowl XLVII.

This is huge news and a great deal for the NFL. Finally, the NFL has an entertainer fully worthy of the Super Bowl stage in Beyonce.

An official announcement is set for Wednesday.
