Clint Eastwood. There’s no question he gave a Republican National Convention speech that was an unforgettable train wreck.
But the reason it was so, was because it looked for all the World like the great actor and director of such movies as Million Dollar Baby, gave his RNC speech drunk. Take a look at this blogger’s video and judge for yourself:
Whatever his condition, Clint Eastwood stole the show from Republican Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney, and made all but the most hard-core politicos forget Florida Senator Marc Rubio was there. His bit with ‘Invisible Obama’ was hilarious, and someone on Twitter said “It looked as if he actually believed he was talking to Obama in the chair.”
Maybe Clint did.
In all of this blogger’s years, never before has anything like this ever happened. I do think it hurt Mitt’s message. You can be sure President Obama will not have a Clint Eastwood problem.
