President Obama On Reddit
President Barack Obama, as this is being written, is participating in what’s called an “Ask me anything,” chat via Reddit, the Internet link forum that calls itself “The Front Page Of The Internet.”
And the result is a heavily overloaded Reddit. This is so because the note “reddit is under heavy load right now, sorry. Try again in a few minutes,” which means everyone wants to ask the POTUS a question.
But it also means President Obama is reaching out to America in ways his GOP challenger Mitt Romney may never do. Ok, I give credit to Governor Romney for using Tout.com, but Obama on Reddit continues a string of constant use of social media (or what we call New Media) to reach the American People.
As this blogger refreshed the screen, it’s under what’s called “heavy load” still. Love to see the numbers associated with this endeavor.
