Since football’s almost upon us for 2012 (yeah!), I thought it best to present a nice offensive approach that Chris Brown of the blog Smart Football featured and is called ‘The Polecat’ – a three-down-lineman, empty set offense that looks like a pass-and-catch drill between quarterback and receivers, which it is. The Polecat is not unlike the A-11 Offense in design, but it a bit more conventional – just a bit. And take a good look at it, because you’re going to see more of it in the NFL.
