Is USA Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper Hope Solo really upset with Women’s Soccer Legend and NBC Olympics Commentator Brandi Chastain, or is she just playing the Donald Trump PR playbook? At first this blogger thought Solo was releasing the thoughts of an athlete under tremendous stress and was overdue for a good sexual release, and I said so…
But upon reflection, and considering that Hope’s releasing her memoir at the end of August, I think Ms. Solo’s using a page from the Donald Trump school of PR: pick another celebrity to get into a public squabble with with the real objective being more attention for Mr. Trump’s television programs like The Apprentice.
If she is, it’s hard to prove. But I’d not dismiss the idea at all.
