The fallout from the Bobby Petrino / Jessica Dorrell Sex Scandal has already started: Manvel WR Austin Bennett, a key recruit, has decommitted from the Arkansas football program after learning that Petrino will no longer be the head coach.
In all, the news that Arkansas Athletic Director Jeff Long fired Bobby Petrino has sent a ripple energy of uncertainly through the 2012 Arkansas Football Recruiting Class. But so far, Bennett’s the only one to jump, the others, like cornerback Will Hines from Waco, Texas (Missouri Verbal), are still coming, and mostly because position coaches who are still with the team were the one’s who convinced them to come to the Razorbacks.
