The Oscars: Congratulations to The Help!

Here we are again…. faced with the ever so difficult question of which movie deserves to win best picture of the year for The Oscars.

This year, without The Help, my decision would have been a much more difficult one. The performances by Emma Stone, Octavia Spencer and of course Viola Davis made this movie an unforgettable one.

Entertaining, enlightening, shocking, funny, happy, sad, inspiring… what emotion didn’t this film possess!?

From the ingenious script, to the flawless acting, to the gripping soundtrack… this movie was able to successfully portray and embrace the intense emotions behind a topic in a way that many films have only TRIED to do before. Needless to say, my vote goes to The Help….. is it too early to say congratulations to Tate Taylor and The Help’s cast and crew??? 😉
