Celebrities at CES

At the CES, so announced are lots of celebrities showing up to present products at several booths. Many times it is not only a one hour show but they talk and present then more than three or four times. I bet for an American point of view, all the stars are huge celebrities, well known and loved by their fans.

For me, as a German it is not that impressive. I know from all of those by name only two: 50 Cent and Justin Bieber.

We could now discuss my kind of taste, but in fact I know 50 Cent because of his connection to Ennimen and he  also was several times in the news.

And Justin Bieber – well if you don’t live in a cave, you should have heard the name at least one time: At the commercial with Ozzy Osburne shown at last year’s super bowl, what ended with Ozzy’s question: “What’s a Bieber?”

But for sure, also on pure German conferences, people from another country would have their problems to reward the presence of our celebrities.

Than they would ask questions like: “What’s a Kerkeling? What’s a Gottschalk?”
But probably they would not ask: “What’s a  Tokio Hotel? What’s a Beckenbauer?”
