University of California, Berkeley Chancellor Robert J. Birgeneau saw an interesting happening in front of his home on the campus of Cal this week. A lot of color of pink and purple, and all to celebrate the one month anniversary of Occupy Cal. As Cal Junior Katie Rapp said the idea is to celebrate because a month ago, “The Chancellor beat us, so we’re giving him love. Se we invited him to dance with us.”

The Chancellor never showed up, but the participants sang ‘Happy Birthday” and blew out a candle on a cake.

Stay tuned.
