Last night, Hope Solo passed her first test with flying colors. Hope was safe from the first round of elimination on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, and rightfully so. Since I know nothing about dancing, I won’t comment on it. I’ll let the numbers do the talking. Hope and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy viennese waltzed themselves to second place (two couples were tied for first) with a respective 21 points out of 30. Combined with the viewers votes (mine included), Hope and Maksim were not even placed in the bottom three. Given that they’ve only danced once so far, and it may be too early to tell, I still however have a good feeling they’re going to get far. Hope doesn’t like to lose and Maksim is overdue for a mirror ball trophy.
